Cruise in style this summer

Drive around in style this summer with the launch of the new Lexus RX300, available now at the Bracknell and Reading Lexus showrooms.
The all-new RX300, available in five models, builds on the style, safety and performance of its predecessor to race ahead of its competitors in the luxury Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) sector.
Its exclusive features include Active Front-lighting System (AFS), the UK’s first fully adaptive headlight system, which adjusts the angle of illumination according to steering angle and vehicle speed.
The entry-level RX300, from £28,950, is equipped with cruise control, an eightspeaker sound system and driver’s knee airbags.
The five-speed automatic gear box offers class-leading fuel economy, while the revised, more powerful 3.0-litre, V6 petrol engine reaches even higher levels of emission control and a top speed of 124 mph.
The flagship SE-L model comes with the Lexus Navigator satellite guidance system as standard which includes a colour rear view camera for parking assistance. Also, four-wheel air suspension offers greater ride control by automatically lowering the car 15mm when travelling above 60 mph to boost high-speed stability.
When the ignition is turned off, the vehicle automatically assumes ‘access’ mode to lower the vehicle by 30mm from the standard position to aid easier access or exit by the driver and passengers.

There is also a new attraction at the show in the form of an off-road course for visitors which will be sponsored by Toyota in recognition of the new Land Cruiser. If you want to be driven around the track, stop by the Octagon stand to book your place.

Braeside homes go up for sale

The development of the 18, three and four bedroom quality homes at Binfield in Berkshire was launched onto the market in June for summer selling.
This is the release of the first ‘European’ style homes by the developer, Key Properties Limited. The project involves Nike Construction, NDG Interiors, Jubilee Building Supplies and Nike Design Limited, all group members.

Race championships hosted by JNLL

Ready… steady… go! Three John Nike Leisuresport Limited centres across the country have an exhilarating season of dry ski slope races coming up.
John Nike Leisuresport, Llandudno, will host the Celtic Cup and British Championships – two of the most prestigious races in the artificial ski slope event calendar – on 12 and 13 July and 13 and 14 September respectively.The British Schools’ Championships will also take place at the centre on 15 November.
There is a full programme of racing at Chatham Ski and Snowboard Centre where the Race Association of Kent Schools (RAKS), English Schools’ Championships (ESC), Southern Region Ski Association (SRSA) Summer League, London & South East Regional Ski Association (L&SERSA) and English Schools’ Ski Association (ESSKIA) will all compete.
John Nike Leisuresport, Swadlincote, will hold the Arrows Club National on 21 June, the English Ski Council Grand Prix on 22 June and the English Schools’ Ski Association (ESSKIA) national championships on 4 and 5 October. Spectators are welcome at all the races so contact the appropriate centre if you would like to watch some top quality skiing – see back page for contact details.
